Two Approaches to Performance
The Luna Rossa partnership, active since 2019, has produced watches that look unmistakably Panerai but incorporate technical touches from Carbotech cases to useful complications. These latest additions offer distinct purposes: the Chrono is built around timing and performance, while the GMT is better suited to daily wear with its versatile 40mm size and first-ever metal bracelet in the Luna Rossa collection.
Luminor Luna Rossa Chrono PAM01768
Housed in a 44mm brushed steel case, the PAM01768 pairs a silver sun-brushed dial with red accents inspired by the Luna Rossa team colors. It features a tachymeter scale for measuring average speed over a set distance, working together with the central red-and-white chronograph seconds hand. The calibre P.9210 automatic chronograph movement beats at 28,800 vibrations/hour with a 42-hour power reserve.
Luminor Luna Rossa GMT PAM01791
At 40mm, the PAM01791 is among the most compact Luna Rossa watches ever made. It becomes the first Luna Rossa watch to feature a metal bracelet, giving the collection a sportier, more versatile character. The arrow-shaped GMT hand is inspired by the sail of the Luna Rossa yacht. Powered by the automatic P.900/GMT calibre, it offers a 12-hour second-time-zone display and a 3-day power reserve.
