The Type 11 represents a thematic restart for the brand, powered by its first fully in-house-designed movement — the Werk RW-01 automatic caliber. The Werk RW-01: Purpose-Built from the Ground Up

Previous Ressence watches relied on existing mechanical movements modified with bespoke modules to power the brand's signature ROCS (Ressence Orbital Convex System) display. The Werk RW-01 changes everything. Fully designed by Ressence to meet its particular requirements, this automatic movement operates at 4Hz with 60 hours of power reserve from two mainspring barrels.

The RW-01 integrates the ROCS display system directly, allowing for a thinner profile and more elegant internal mechanism. The movement contains 40 jewels, 67 gears, and 18 ball bearings. Each movement is individually serialized.

Ergonomic Pebble-Inspired Case Design

The Type 11 case is produced from polished grade 5 titanium and weighs just 49 grams including the strap. Inspired by a smooth pebble, the case is exceptionally comfortable with no sharp edges. At 41mm wide by 11mm thick, it feels even thinner on the wrist. The dial is fully lumed and highly legible despite the complex discs-within-discs ROCS display system.

The new fold-out titanium winding handle replaces earlier setting mechanisms. Turn one direction to adjust time forward, the other to adjust backward — and one direction also winds the mainspring manually. Three dial colors are available at launch: "Sky" blue, "Pine" green, and "Latte" tan.
