Positional Variance

A watch rates differently depending on which way it faces. This is normal physics — gravity affects the balance wheel differently in each position. A well-regulated watch is adjusted across five positions:

  • Dial up, dial down
  • Crown up, crown down, crown left

The goal is not perfect accuracy in every position — it is consistent performance across the positions you actually wear.
